What we collect

• Your mobile phone number
• The text messages you send to Pocket Desk, and any photos you attach
• The replies Pocket Desk sends back to you
• Delivery status information from our messaging provider, so we can tell whether a reply actually reached you

Why we collect it

Solely to operate the service you asked for: to store the job notes and receipts you send, to answer your questions about your own records, and to reply to you. Your messages are used to serve you and for no other purpose.

Who we share it with

We share data with two categories of service provider, and only as much as is needed to deliver the service:

• Our messaging provider (Twilio), which carries the text messages themselves.
• Our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services), where the service runs and your records are stored.

We do not share your information with anyone else. We do not sell it. We do not rent it. We do not provide it to data brokers, advertisers, or marketing companies. No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

How it is stored

Each participant's records are stored separately from every other participant's, in their own isolated storage. Data is held on servers operated by Amazon Web Services in the United States.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any message to stop all messages immediately.
• Email ed@pocketdesk.net to request a copy of your data, or to have your number and records deleted.

We will action deletion requests promptly and confirm when it is done.

Children

Pocket Desk is a tool for working tradespeople and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page will change with it.
